Our Team

Lam is the owner of Kell Modern, a furniture design business in Connecticut. The Kerri-Lee Mayland Company taps Lam's amazing skills for REFRESH projects, photos and graphic design.

Lam came to the US from Vietnam. He started Kell Modern five years ago after he noticed high-quality products were hard to come by on the internet. Passionate about creativity, problem solving and working with his hands, Lam thinks outside the box and creates original custom pieces -- whether it's art or a piece of furniture. His designs are the blend of aesthetics and function.

Lam is formally trained in fine art and graphic design. He's also worked as an architectural visualizer, newspaper illustrator, media art director and photographer.

Lesa Lewis-Whittingham is an interior decorator and owner of Whit Interiors, a fabric and interior design shop in Avon, Connecticut. Lesa brings her encyclopedic knowledge of textile patterns and design to the REFRESH team. Lesa weaves her curated fabrics and unique touches into our custom décor giving each project a unique textured look. Lesa launched her career as a visual merchandiser after completing her design training at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

Mia brings her Scandinavian influences to the REFRESH design team and loves incorporating elements of nature into our designs. Creativity runs deep for Mia. As a self-taught abstract artist she expresses herself on canvas too.

Born in Sweden, she always had a curiosity about the world around her. Her travels took her from drama school in Stockholm to Paris, Los Angeles, New York City, Germany and Italy where she worked as a Ford model. In each place she lived, she loved exploring the art, culture, fashion and design of the region.

Polish, precision and expertise is what Kim Hart brings to the Kerri-Lee Mayland Company. Kim grew up in nearby Farmington, and has a background in account services. She spent years at leading advertising agencies in California and Connecticut, and served as Director of Advertising, Brand Strategy and Integration at Cigna. Kim also worked as an independent real estate agent.

Kind, always willing to go the extra mile and help out wherever needed, Cesar Huamann is an invaluable member of the Kerri-Lee Mayland Company's REFRESH team. He came to Connecticut from Peru, and it didn’t take long for word to spread that he is the best there is when it comes to finishing off “to do”. lists around the home. Cesar and his brother Carlos work side by side, and between them, have years of experience on both interior and exterior projects, for residential and commercial properties. You’ll remember them for the quality of work they do, but also the ready smiles they bring to each and every job.

As a REFRESH Associate Vanessa is often the first face that greets you at The Kerri-Lee Mayland Company headquarters. Vanessa is a ballet major at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Vanessa lives in West Hartford, Connecticut, where she studied in the Community Dance Division in the renowned Hartt School.

Kelly is originally from the SF Bay Area, near the Napa Valley. She lived in LA and then moved to San Diego for 20 years where she found her love for all things design. She has over 15 years of experience designing and renovating homes. She loves mixing the old with the new, & finding that perfect piece at the antique store and bringing all the elements together! Kelly has also worked as a Real Estate agent, working hand in hand renovating homes to sell.

Bella is a Kerri-Lee Mayland Company REFRESH design team associate. Bella is part of the Social Media Team and she loves coming up with creative posts to keep the feeds fresh. She is currently attending Butler University as a ballet major. Bella is excited to be part of the REFRESH team.
